At Lisa's Family Daycare our top priority is to provide a safe and nurturing environment conducive to your child 's development from infancy to preschool. We teach basic academic skills needed to be successful in primary school and set the framework for a lifetime of learning. We also recognize that every child is unique and has his or her own way of making sense of the world. Therefore, we strive to make learning exciting for all of our children by using different learning nobilities to assist them in processing new information.  I  observe and listen to the children in an effort to learn what intrigues them, then design engaging activities that cater to their interests.

Children thrive in environments that provide a certain level of consistency. That is exactly why Lisa's Family Daycare strives to provide consistency and security for all our children. This is achieved by using a daily schedule that includes pictorial representations, soothing music, and modeling. We use quiet calming voices and encourage the expression of emotions. We promote peaceful resolutions to conflicts by allowing the child to develop a strong sense of empowerment through verbal expression. 

At Lisa's Family Daycare we welcome and encourage parent involvement.  Parents are encouraged to come out and read a story, present/explain a particular community helper, take part in art projects, share artifacts or stories about their culture, or suggest field trip and tag along.
